LIVE ONLINE WORKSHOP

NEW APPROACHES TO STORYTELLING

WITH GUEST MENTOR MAGGIE STEBER

ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP

In this workshop, led by Maggie Steber, we look at new ways to tell old stories that have finally started to be “acceptable” in publications which once turned their backs on anything that wasn’t considered documentary or photojournalistic.  We will look at examples of documentary work that employs artistic approaches to make stronger statements that the photographer wishes to make with their work.

What a pleasure to have taken this workshop online with Maggie, she enthusiastically shared her approach to visual stories with her strong experience. Very informative content taught in the friendly atmosphere of a small group. This is my second workshop with The Raw Society, the formats and contents provided by Christelle and Jorge are qualitative. I highly recommend for photographers who want to elevate their practice.

Very good and inspirational workshop! Maggie is a great photographer and person. Check her work if you don’t know it yet. She was friendly, generous with sharing her experience and time. We also got a list with inspiration links after the workshop. I recommend those workshops, it was my third – always professional and friendly. Thanks guys!
